O- runs in my husbands family. They have NO history of cancer. On the other side my family is mostly AB+ ( including me). I would dare to say 80% died of cancer. Go figure...

I have AB with three + antigens and one - antigen. I am considered as AB-. I believe that I am the only neg in my family of 9 kids. I was dx'd with BC in Jan 2009, my sister had lung cancer (a smoker), my mother had throat cancer (also a smoker), my other sister has skin cancer, a brother has skin cancer and prostrate cancer, and another brother has prostrate cancer. That leaves 4 who have not had any cancer. Sally

I have AB- but I am the caregiver! My husband who has bc has B+, and other family members with cancer had positive blood types.

B negative. Prostate cancer and bladder cancer. But do not believe blood type has anything to do with it.
