Davey goes to Dana Farber right across the street. Not sure if they share doctors?

Run! don't walk to Brigham Womans / Dana Farber across the street. Beth Is. is a good hosp. but not noted from their bladder cancer treatment. they have all so recently been cited for deficient care - not enough nurses to care for pateints. All so, they have still not have there act together after the merge Beth Is. & Deacones. The Brigham / Dana Farber is 1000 X better and more experiance.
Best luck

HI, good luck to you. I went to Beth Israel for an opinion and saw Dr. Michael Kearney. He was really nice and I liked him a lot... but he was unwilling to discuss any options besides immediate removal... and I do not have invasive bc.... so I did not go with him.
I do have a friend who works in that hospital (not a dr. or nurse) so if you do end up going there, let me know.. and I'll see if she can get you "perks".... or at least an inside "view" of your dr. xo michelle

Thanks for the info Michelle,

I got a 2nd opinion from Dr Martin Sanda there , seemed nice, very good credentials, may go there once my 6 weeks BCG is done and I get my Cysto results.

I am also going into to Mass General to see a Dr. Mcgovern also, from people I have spoken to, he is the best in bladder cancer care in the Boston area.
