Mom & Husband

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to give you an update. I am sure you are all thrilled to read my post hehe!.

Went to visit Mom yesterday and do her laundry. She was in good spirits which is always good. They now have someone sit with her to make sure she gets something to eat off of her plate at each meal. It must be working as she has gained 3 pounds in 3 months.
She still has the gate belt on at all times, and can't move with out someone assisting her. Her blood clot in the breast is still there, but not growing any more, but not going down either. When I checked on it yesterday, can you believe I found that they have a bra on her!! She looks stupid, May West on one side and Twiggy on the other side. I am going to call today to see if that is really necessary.

While I was at the nursing home, my husband Pat called his surgeon office. He has swollen feet since he has been home, but left is really bigger then the right. He also has pain radiating down his left leg and two of his fingers in his left hand a numb. They want to have him go today for a Doppler scan, they are not sure if a blood clot or complication from surgery. If it is either they will have to admit him again.

Life just gets better each day. Say a prayer that all works out with the test. I sure would hate for them to have to open him up again.

Take care to all,
Mary Ann
