My husband seems to have lots of dreams. He cries out in his sleep and starts kicking and punching. I have to keep a body pillow between us so I don't get beat up during the night. Is this common? Or does maybe any of his meds cause it? He's on Ativan, Zoloft, Aricept, and Namenda.

You are the first person I've ever heard mention this symptom. For several months after he first developed AD and before he was formally diagnosed, my husband had terrible dreams with the same reactions as your husband is having. He wasn't on any memory enhancing drugs, only Zoloft, at the time. It was horribly frightening to me because he would be so angry in his dreams. I finally moved into another bedroom and stopped "sleeping" (I didn't really sleep) with him altogether. I didn't suspect AD at that time and he wasn't allowing me to go with him to see doctors then, so I don't know for sure that he ever talked with them about it. After a several months the dreams stopped. It has always been a mystery to me. If you find out what's happening, please share it.
Thinking of you and praying for you.
