Green Tea & Sjogren's

0 Recommendations

My mother gave me her copy of Dr Robert Jay Rowen's Second Opinion Newsletter & it had an article about Sjogren's and the bioflavonoid ECGC in green tea.
Apparently they help the immune & inflammation responses that attack our glands in Sjogren's.
The article recommends that you should drink several cups of green tea a day (not sweetened with artificial or refined sugars) or 2-3 capsules of Green Tea Extract.
This is very exciting to me & I'm starting to try it. I've only had a couple of cups of green tea so far, but it does seem that my thirst is better quenched when I drink it as opposed to plain water. In time it's supposed to help dry eyes too :)
I'll keep you posted on how it goes & if anyone else decides to try it I'd love to hear how it's working for them!
