Would any one like to share your day to day progress with me? It is hard to talk to others about what is happening to me so I thought others with the same diagnosis could help answer questions or give advice.

ALS

My mother and grandmother both had ALS. My grandmother for 14 years where all she could move was her finger and my mother who had it for 7 years and was still able to move her left hand by herself. My grandmothers was quicker in coming and my mothers was slower. My Mom spoke about her ribs hurting and we found out later it was due to her lungs. My mom was a very private women and would not allow us to take her to the doctor as she was afraid we would but her in a hospital as is what happended to her mom. We cared for her at home and we were grateful we were able to. My mom's started with her foot slapping on the ground and then her speech begain to slir. She loved to quilt and care for my Dad. When she was not longer able to stand by herself we would have her sitting at the table so she coudl make him muffins. I am not sure if any of this helps but if you have any questions I might be able to answer please let me know. Praying that God will give you strength

I was just diagnosed two weeks ago. I have been having trouble for awhile and thinking it could be MS, 2 MRI's, but now I know. I'm sad that my three kids dont seem to be affected by this at all. No sympathy or comments. It kinda hurts, you know?? Anyway, I drop things all the time and I am having a harder time walking and scared I'm going to fall and break something. I have a hard time trying to pick things up and writing. When I go to sing, it hurts my throat so bad. I am doing a heavy Metal and chemical cleanse.
I understand that chemical exposure is a huge culprit for the cause of ALS. I was exposed to alot in my 54 years. I'd also like to try a natural lithium.

When were you diagnosed and what all do you face??? Do you have any tips??
