I purchased this book last week. It has just been published. (copyright says 2010) This book is so well researched & will be so helpful to healthcare workers, ambulance drivers, doctors, nurses, hospice. It finally speaks directly to the special needs of ALS. The references at the end of each chapter provide a wealth of ALS related topics which can lead any healthcare worker to a deep understanding of ALS & how to best provide care.
