Walk to D’Feet ALS Coming to a Community Near You!

0 Recommendations

During the next few months, over 100 Walks to D’Feet ALS are scheduled in communities across the country bringing together more than 65,000 PALS, families and friends united in finding a treatment and cure for ALS. In addition to raising awareness of the disease and funding ALS research ($12 million was collected last year), walks are a great opportunity to participate in advocacy. Last year, walks generated nearly 30,000 letters to Congress on advocacy issues such as the ALS Registry Act and increased government funding for ALS research. Look for the advocacy booth at your local walk to sign a letter in support of the ALS Registry Act and to learn how you can participate in advocacy throughout the year with your local chapter.
