sensory symptoms

I've recently been diagnosed with A.L.S. and would like to know if other people experience sensory manifestations. I have a numb feeling in 3 of my toes and across the top of one foot, and get burning sensations across the tops of both feet, especially @ night and after wearing shoes. Do others have this?

Good Morning. I've been officially diagnosed for a month, but I've suspected for quite a while. My most marked sensory manifestation was just above my ankle of my left leg where there was an area that was very sore if anything even lightly brushed up against it. The pain seemed to be just surface level. It lasted for a few months, but is gone now, and any other minor sensory manifestation I have had comes and goes.

For a period of about 6 months my upper thighs were very sensitive to pressure, even slight - it was uncomfortable for me to have keys, wallet, anything in my front pockets - very uncomfortable if my kids sat on my lap. That went away completely though.

Later, for a period of about 2 months, I had numbness on the right half of my right foot (both top and bottom).

I did get a burning feeling in my feet at night at one point - I don't know what that was all about, but it seemed to coincide with a period of time when I was taking Tramadol.

I don't think sensory problems are typical with ALS, but I had never had any problems like this before & I'm an otherwise healthy, young guy - so my assumption is that it's probably related somehow.
