For those of you who haven't heard about it... the Rolling Over ALS Tour is to raise awareness for ALS by traveling nearly 1000 miles from Orlando FL to Washington DC. The Tour will start on April 19 at the conclusion of the FL Walk to Defeat ALS and will end on May 11 at the start of the National ALS Advocacy Days in Washington DC. My husband, Ken Sr, will be making this entire trip in his wheelchair with a chase vehicle and trailer following behind. For more detailed information go to the website www.rolloverals.org or email us at info@rolloverals.org
There are many pALS who have expressed to us their desire to be a part
of the Tour, but just can not physically be there. We would like to
share a way that you can be with us in spirit and help make the Rolling
Over ALS Tour a huge success. Below is a link to the Rolling Over ALS
Tour website where you can make a donation and have your own customized
("in honor of" or "in memory of" - with or without your photo)ribbon
placed on the chase vehicle and trailer. We want to see the vehicles
covered with these ribbons showing the many faces of ALS as we travel nearly 1000 miles from Orlando FL to Washington DC. After the Tour festivities are completed the
ribbons will be mailed to you for display on your own vehicle.
Please join with us and help make the Rolling Over ALS Tour a
successful one.
