I need some advice...Could anyone post a link to the 'best' blog they have found re: Lithium?
My husbands lithium level seems to be staying at .2, even tho the doctor has been upping the dosage each week... Perhaps he is having his blood tested at the wrong time of day (is it a short-acting substance? ) Does it take some weeks to achieve a certain level? Our local doctor is great in that he is helping us with this, but I am wondering if we are missing something. Thanks!

Hi Kay,

you may want to try this site about lithium. I emailed it to my doctor in Cleveland and he is going to put me on it aftyer I get some blood work done. Hope it helps. Joe

Joe have you been keeping up to date on the lithium study? http://alslithium.atspace.com/italian.html it may just be what you need, worth asking your Dr.

PatientsLikeMe has teamed up with Karen and Humberto who originally started the spreadsheet. You can see the results thus far at: http://www.patientslikeme.com/als_lithium

I found some info on lithium at http://www.medicinenet.com/lithium/article.htm
Not sure if it is what you are looking for, but any info is good info!
