Ken Patterson Sr. has ALS. He is riding in a motorized wheelchair from

An incredible couple, Ken & Glenda Patterson, travelled from Orlando to
Washington, DC by wheelchair to spread awareness about ALS. I hope no
one ever has to do this again because it is a treacherous and
exhausting experience for anyone, nevermind the fact that he is
suffering with ALS. If you see this video, do something. Make a
donation to ALSTDI to help find a cure. If you don't have money, send

themselves.

It was my pleasure to have accompanied you on your trip from Arlington back to the hotel. Your wife did an excellent job getting everything ready. I sure hope to see you again next year. You are one truely amazing man.

Ken and Glenda I am sooo glad to see you made it!
i have been telling everyone i know about you!
I got an award here in KC a few weeks ago at our Night of Hope for courage from Tom Watson. I told them I was so NOt deserving of this award thinking of you the whole time!
I am soo proud of you and I wore your button on the back of my chair with my high heel shoes i would have worn.
