Today's appt went very well. My heart was racing a little bit but like I told the nurse that was from my nerves and she could not believe that I was nervous. I guess with all the visits with her I was a very strong person. Of course of all of us know that sometimes we put on a brave front when we are in front of others and then be very emotional when we ar by ourselves. Anyway back to the doctors appt. The CT scan showed a thickening of my peritenal (sp) cavity but considers this normal with having the IP port and receiving treatment this way. I am having surgery on Monday to remove my port, and then will go back for doc to check me over from the surgery and then go back for blood tests and ct scan in about three months. Thank yous go out to everyone that has been such a great help to me through all of this, as you sisters out there are the best supporters to have besides family.
