QVC is having their Super Saturday Live programming on Saturday, July 26th. Encourage friends and family to watch and buy during this show to benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund...supposedly items will be about 50% off and all net proceeds will go to the OCRF. See below for details. I know I plan to do some shopping that day. :-)

I have heard about this before and am planning on watching and maybe doing some buying;-).

I just thought I would comment on this post so that it would bring it back up for everyone to see as it is THIS SATURDAY. I'm setting my DVR, as I will be at work.

Happy shopping!!

They had this last year and to be honest, it was rather disappointing. The only really affordable thing was a tube of lipstick for $12. Everything else was just way too much money. JMHO

This is the event that Kelly Ripa is a part of and always talks about on the Regis and Kelly show. I remember coming home from the hospital after my surgery and being so sick and that was one of the first things I heard. Of course after being diagnosed your ears perk up every time you hear something about OV cancer. It's just nice to get some press about the cause and lots of locals in the Hamptons can afford to spend the big bucks on designer stuff so I say more power to them. We need all the bucks we can get for research. There's plenty of other ways for us common folk to donate.

I saw this last year and it is very fast-moving. If you aren't quick you can't get anything. Ordering online is the best way if you want something. They probably had a bigger selection at the actual event, and QVC selects certain items to put on sale. Some things were very expensive, some not. There weren't too many things I wanted but I did buy a great designer bag for 1/2 price. It's worth a look, but that doesn't take the place of my mailing a donation to my favorite ovca charity.
