I am so happy to find this website. I have had stomach problems for over 25 years. I was on Prilosec for about 9 years. I finally went to a Gastro doctor about 3 years ago and when she did the Endoscopy she found numerous polyps. This really scared me, but she did a biopsies and told me they were nothing to worry about. I still worry, but after reading some of the discussions on this website I am thinking that the polyps may have been caused from the Prilosec. My gastro doctor changed my medication to Nexium. I still have problems with my stomach even though I take it twice a day. I can't imagine what it would be like to be able to eat whatever you want.
