I had a vagotomy when I was 25,am now 61, have been sick with dumping syndrome and various other ailments
since the surgery. I had a Gastric bypass done on me in
2007. But not for Obesity. To try to slow down the Dumping Syndrome because my pancreas did not know when to give me insulin. I crashed almost everytime I would have dumping syndrome and would pass out from low blood sugar. I now do not get any kind of nutrition in my body to maintain or sustaine me. The GES says that I have a double whammy because of not having my vagus nerve. He says I need a reversal of the gastric bypass. So he sent me back to Baylor to my GES that suggested the bypass in the first place. I really don't think the Dr's
know what to do with me. I have excruciating pain all over, especially my back. I am so weak now, Even though someone looks at me, I look healthy, I'm malnutrition.
