size of a pea

I have noticed that since I have gone to smoothies and clears, I have been going, a lot. Especially at work. I know it makes sense but it is just annoying, I mean it seems like my bladder is the size of a pea. I used to be able to hold it the whole shift if I needed to. Now it seems like if I sneeze too hard, I might wet myself. Not kosher in an ICU, if you know what I'm sayin'. Oh well, guess it's just something else to get used to.

Amen
Its bad enough that we have this but to add this with it really sucks, here i am glad that i have made it to somewhere like shopping without getting sick then i spend most of the time in the bathroom and when someone asks me if they could buy me a drink i say nicely no way as my mouth is so dry it cracks i get home and drink a bottle of water and im done i have even told my husband what a good resale value a tv in the bathroom would be because i miss so many parts of a show.
So far that has not happened
take care

I was having similar problems last year. They mysteriously went away when I added Benefiber. So did the diarrhea. I am also very careful about potassium balance (taking aldactone), so I wonder if that has something to do with it?
Of course, I can reach the end of a day having completely forgotten to eat or drink, so that helps.
It pays to have no memory or sense of hunger.
I also had adhesions on my bladder removed when they did my hysterectomy (hence, the puncture). My bladder function has improved since then. I don't always know when I have to go anymore, though, until I feel the physical weight of it. Entirely different.
I find this whole disorder very odd and inconvenient.

odd and inconvenient is putting it mildly. The only reason I go so much at work is because most times all I really get to do is drink, although I am trying to be better about eating the small "meals", if you can call them that.

Yeah. Forgetting to eat leaves too much room for liquids. My GI was not happy about that. Eating meaning smoothies. Now, I drink very little water. So much of my diet is liquid, I just don't need it. I just monitor the color of my urine--after the B vitamins have passed. A lovely, fluorescent yellow they are.
There is a certain beauty in the understatement.
