I have been prescribed Marinol.. Im nervous to take it.. any information that anyone can give me would be great.. good or bad!

Hi Becky. I take Marinol. I don't have any problems at all. It doesn't make me tired at all, it's very mild for me. It helps me, but only in conjunction with phenergan. I can't take many meds due to drug interactions with a cardiac med I take. But give it a try, it's worth it. Good luck and hope you feel better.

I also take Marinol. It helps me too, and doesn't make me tired or loopy or anything like that. Hope it helps!

OK thanks for the help.. i just get nervous when i read that it can cause problems and take with a supervised adult around since it can cause mood changes and such. Glad that I have heard some good things about it!!! Thank you both soo much.. I will be starting tomorrow taking it... i hope it works and wont have any side effects with it. Thanks again!

its synthetic THC pills to help with nausea and vomiting... it also helps stimulate your appitite... thats about all i know about it.. sry i couldnt give you more information... heres the website i looked up to read more about it..

My brother used marinol and it worked wonders for him. He was able to eat better and didn't get sick unless he ate too much at one time.

I havent gotten it yet.. i went to the pharmacy and forgot my prescriptions!! lol so i have to go back tmrw to get it. Ill let you know how it works

im praying that it doesnt get me too hungry since lately i have been really hungry and im irritating my stomach more with trying to eat things.. Im just praying that it helps take my nausea away better than the zofran.
