Hello to everybody

My daughter CHA is finally going to Mayo Clinic next week. Has anyone been there and can share impressions with us please.

Did rhe doctors there check you as a whole to eliminate other conditions, such as neurological or pschicological conditions?

Please help us as my daughter is worried if after all our effort to get there she will not be totally evaluated.

Thank you all and God bless you and never say you can't go on.

Eva,
I've been talking some to Cha abut you experiences at Mayo. I would be happy to answer any questions that you have too. Yes, I was checked as a whole for all my problems. I saw neurologist, psychologist, urologists, opthamolgist and of course the GI doctor while I was there. Just be sure to tell the primary doctor about all the symptoms and areas you are concerned with and ask that they be checked...I didn't have to ask and chances are you won't either but if the doctor that she sees doesn't mention it then make sure you ask!
I will send you a friend request so if you think of any more questions that you can write directly too me...I'll do my best to answer them.
I know how scary this trip is for Cha and you not knowing what to expect and worry that the trip will not be helpful...I went my first time to Mayo feeling the same way but it really was worth going up there.

I would also be happy to answer any of her questions. I went to Mayo a year ago. I saw a whole bunch of doctors and had 2 weeks of testing.

Thank you for your reply.
How was your experience there?
Was treatment effective?
What tests did you undergo and if you remember the doctors name?
God bless you.
