I ordered the Montel Williams healthmaster today. Does anyone have one? Its easier for me to digest liquids than solids. I thought this would be a good thing so I can make veggie/fruit smoothies

Oh, boy, the blender/juicer debate. Good luck.
Busy teacher makes me laugh again!! I have not had the pleaure of reading the smoothie debate. I made a smoothie with strawberry yogurt, ice, canned peaches, skim milk and a little instant breakfast. It was pretty good but I had to put it in the freezer a while, I like it frozen. You probably need to watch the fiber content unfortunately. DF
Low fiber is the way to go! That smoothie you made sounds yummy! I'll have to try that.
The healthmaster is not a system. It does several thing very well but I can't point to any other kithen appliance that it will replace.
Here is a thought for you. Honeydew melons have a very large amount of potassium. I have read that 1/4 of a melon has more K than the distribution amounts in prescription KCl. Cross chek before assuming that description to be literal.
I spoon out the ripe fruit into a HealthMaster and give it a go. The result is a clear green fluid that tastes exactly like watermellon except better when sweetened.

Hi
I have one, I purchased it about 2 1/2 weeks ago and as I said a few days ago on this site I love it. I found out today my Dr's wife just order her one and she loves it too. I have gained a few pounds since I received it because according to my Dr. I am juicing too many fruits and not enought veggies.
But, I have not had any problems out of it, it is sooo much easier to use than a regular juicer because of the cleaning and you get all of the nuetrients oppose to a lot of left over pulp. I am not much on baking so I always throw out the pulp. I purchased my healthmaster from Target so if anything went wrong within 30 days I could always take it back.
It cost the same as on tv, but to me it is well worth it.
That's what my husband wants me to try next, since I'm choking on my food now and things are getting hung in my throat. I also don't get any nourishment anymore. Maybe
I'll just try this healthmaster.
I have one standing gripe about the HealthMaster!
Anything not fluid tends to pack beneath the blades and it is a task to get it out. I mix flour but I don't add liquids or "butter" to the flour. That is done in a bowl. Food processors and mixers do a better job of preparing doughs. Many foods must dominate the volume before enough can be gotten out to make it worth the effort. Sorbet's are an example.
The enigmatic "they" could have done a lot better here.
Emulsified (liquified) foods are will processed with or without ice. Smoothies are easy to control and quick to prepare.
But -- the HealthMaster is NOT a system (it could have been if more attention had been paid to the bowl design) and I await new product attachments.
