Hi everyone. I am back. I went to England for three months to visit with my sisters, then when I got back I went to Florida (my middle daughter graduated with her Masters Degree), then I went to Providence R.I. to a Convention with my British Club. I am doing much better in the GP department and have gained six pounds (whoopee) whoever thought I would get excited about gaining weight. I don't know what happened but I don't get sick as often now and the nausea has eased off, I am just very selective with what I eat. I have another problem now, it is not new but is getting worse. I have very severe headaches, I have been to a pain clinic and had injections in the base of my skull they said that I had Occipital Neuralgia the injections didn't help. Then I had three Epidurals in the top of my spine, that didn't help so then I paid to have Acupuncture, no help there either. I am now going to a Chiropracter and he has refered me to a Neurologist whom I am going to see on the 17th. I would just like to have a diagnosis and a treatment that works. I hope that everyone is doing better. Char and Charlotte I have sent you both a message. Love to everyone. Mags
Mags,
It is nice to see you back! I'm glad you were away having fun not sick in the hospital.
I'm glad to know that your GP has been better but hate to hear about the awful headaches. Hopefully the neurologist will be able to help with them
Welcome home!
Judy
Hi Judy. Thanks for the welcome home message. I went to the Neurologist on Thursday and he said that I have Migraine and prescribed Relpax, I took one when I got home and the headache went away for the first time in years. I felt one coming on yesterday and took a Relpax, the headache never did materialise. I have also had some burning in my feet which he said was Neuropathy (I am Diabetic) so he put me Gabapentin for that, at first he wanted to give me Lyrica but Lyrica is so expensive plus last time I took it (for Shingles) it made me sick. So!!! How are things going with you? I do hope that you are doing better. Keep in touch. All the best to you., Joyce
