Gallbladder pain

So glad to find this disscussion group. I have all mobility issues with the esop.,stomach, bowels, etc. I have had enough test for a lifetime and know that they are just starting. I have sclerodema. And one of the places that it attacks the GI tract, and is doing a job on mine. Anyway the reason I am writing is to get some advise on my gallbladder. It needs to come out the doctors says. What do you do for the pain until the surgeon can see you and set up the surgery date?? Short of going to the Er and waiting for 6 hours. (literally)

I had my gallbladder out abut 9yrs ago. I have a motility disorder called biliary diskenisia (spasming bile duct) It's important to limit your fats with this, thankfully that helps with GP too. I also take Aleve for the pain if it gets really bad if you can tolerate it. I have recently been put on Prozac and it has been a great help with the BD pain. I only take 20 mg. I was also on Lexapro prior to the Prozac and that helped too.
