Doperidone

0 Recommendations

My 9 yr old has severe GP. Does anyone know how to get doperidone? We go to CHOP for his care and his GI only mentioned reglan, erythromyacin and a drug used in urology (I can't remember the name). We have failed them all. She wasn't sure how to get doperidone.

Thanks! Revery

You can order domperidone (motillium) from Canada and New Zealand. I used to get mine from New Zealand but I don't take it anymore and don't have the information anymore. I think you can go online though and search Canada pharmacies or New Zealand and possibly find it. I know there are people on the site that take it so I'm sure someone will be able to get you the information.

Get the domperidone from inhousepharmacy.com. They are the ones in New Zealand. They have a phone number on the web site if you prefer to call. You don't need a prescription. If you call, call about 6pm Eastern time to get someone there. If you get a message machine, leave your phone # and they will call you right back. They are very nice, and the price there is the best I've found. 600 pills for $80. And they give $3 off for return customers. I don't think there is a shipping charge either.

The last time I ordered it, it came in exactly 10 days. (I live in NY).

Very helpful!! Thank YOU!! How come you don't need a prescription? How do I know it is the real drug?

Does it come in a liquid as my son can not swallow pills! Thanks again!!

I'm not sure about the prescription thing. My gastroenterologist told me to order the domperidone from them, so I trusted him that the pharmacy is reputable. (My doctor is at Westchester Medical Center which is also very reputable). The domperidone they send me is under the brand name Motillium. I assume it's the real deal because it works. Twenty minutes after taking it, I start to get really hungry. (You take it on an empty stomach (or however empty it can be), 30 min. before eating. But I took it after 20 min).

I do not think it comes in a liquid but you can ask them. It's a very tiny white tablet, so maybe it can be crushed up in a little juice or in a spoonful of something? Oh- and you don't have to get 600 pills. They have different quantities available.

I appreciate all your help! I will try and order it today :)

You're welcome. I hope the medication works!!!

I said New Zealand, but it's actually an island off NZ called Vanuatu. It might be neat for your 9 year old to look up where it is - I know I was interested to learn about it. My dad is a Ham Radio Operator, and he had heard of Vanuatu and has spoken to them on the radio. Small world!

I bought Domperidone 2x through www.canadadrugs.com. Paid $29 for 100 pills. The order was shipped from UK Pharmacy Services in Nottingham. They have been very professional to deal with, easy to talk to someone on the phone, they ship quickly, and called me to remind me to order again when it would have been time to re-order. I was afraid to order outside the U.S. but I think they are just fine.
