hi sunflower,

no, i haven't seen that book. Did you try abebooks.com? Some sellers also sell on amazon.

I have GI 3 books so far:
By Brenda Watson:
1) Gut Solutions and 2) the HOPE Diet
By Dr. David Taylor (published in 1970s)
Gut Reactions: How to Handle Stress and your stomach.

I can't say that I recommend any of the three. There's some fundamental GI info in Brenda Watson's books. She's a naturopath and she outlines GI system, GI diagnosis, aliopathic treatments and alternative treatments.

The Taylor book is about patients stress and mostly about him talking his patients into calming down. It's written in the 70s and he talks about how his patients call him at home (LOL). Outdated but interesting to see how much medicine (and practice thereof) has changed in 30+ years.

If you find any good books, please share.

Take care. Allie

What is the site you found it on? I would like to see what it is.

Yes, I have looked and have been told that the book won't be available for purchase until April. I was so excited when I found it listed online, but then the more I researched, I discovered that the publisher has not released it yet. I hope it is good when it is finally released. If anyone finds a copy of it before April, please post it as a topic!!

Thanks,
Gayle

Yes,
I have signed up for the same thing. I hope it is out soon, but earlier I was told it wouldn't be out until April. Perhaps the publisher is updating it.

Below is a link where you can pre-order it through BooksAMillion.com. But won't be available until April, '10

Does anyone else know of another cookbook? I finally got a referral to a nutritionist to talk about some possibilities that I haven't thought of yet. Hoping they can give some suggestions of things to make/eat for my mom.

I think it was suppose to come out this year , but they delayed it to 2010. I was real interested with that one too. Let me know if you find it sooner.

Jen

Thank you Eve. I placed an order for the book with Books a Million today. What a great find.

Thank you wasunflwr. I placed an order through Books a Million. I am so glad you found this. I really have been looking but to no avail. I guess I am not as computer literate as some of you are. Thanks for the information.

Fabulous, a cookbook especially for GP! I tried to sign up for it on the site you gave, Eve, but it said "title not available." I know it's not available until April, but it won't even let me pre-order. Do you know what the trick is or is there another link you might know of?

Thanks!
