Two months into therapy for bone mets and lung. Yesterday CT showed no improvement or worsening on bone mets, less fluid in lung and Marker CA27.29 from 743 to 156. Still a ways to go on the marker situation. So I will continue monthly Zometa and blood work with alternate month CT's and Onc. visits. I asked how much improvement I should expect monthly and was told it was a slow process but as long as bone mets does not worsen, blood work remains stable, and markers show improvement then we will continue this protocol. I am trying to stay positive and continue browsing this site for all the good info I have read - one of the best sites I have found so far.
