I celebrated my 44th birthday this week. The kids and my husband spoiled me and we're all going to a nice restaurant tomorrow night (a treat for us and good practice for the kids with table manners etc).
There was a time when I really didn't think I would see 44. I would set a goal one month in the future, then six months, then a year. Now I'm feeling cocky and am shooting for 50! Each grey hair and wrinkle are to be treasured and honoured. I have fought and wrestled for them and I am NOT covering them up!
