My onc wants me on Tykerb and I am on Medicare. It is taking days to find out if I am covered. Does anyone know?

I was on Tykerb and it was covered by Medicare. But I am also now on Medi-Cal. SO it was covered for me although I did have a reaction in the way of skin breakouts from Tykerb and a very bad rash so had to discontinue it. I was on it four a couple of months.
Everyone doesn't react like this and many have found that it does work and there are no problems.
