We Support Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day and Those Living with This Disease - October 13th 2009
The Metastatic Breast Cancer Network (MBCN) has been instrumental in getting October 13th declared Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day (MBCAD) in cities, towns, and states across the country. Last year, 9 states and 31 cities made such proclamations. And this year, MBCN is working with members of Congress to get a joint resolution declaring October 13th NATIONAL Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day.
MBCAD is the one day during October focused on bringing awareness about the unique needs of the 155,000 women and men currently living with metastatic disease.
Please visit http://www.mbcnetwork.org for more information and view programs for Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day 2009.
The Metastatic Breast Cancer Network is the proactive metastatic organization giving those living with metastatic breast cancer a greater voice and visibility in the breast cancer community.
