July 18thru25 2008-- week scans & diagnoses of mets
so coming up on 1 year of Mets and 3 3/4 years since orginal diagnosis

i guess july is a little busy for me :-)

"Happy Birthday" to all of you lucky, red, Rubies, be it your shoes, or that big bling on your fingers! It's a perfectly beautiful time to be married and/ or born! Ah, the summer breezes and romantic soft, summer rains, just makes me want to lay in the hammock, listen to the birds, watch the butterflies flutter all around me, and dream!

Today is my daughter Sarah's 21st birthday. Me with my chemo brain I sent her a happy birthday email yesterday and then a couple hours later realized I had the date wrong..haha. She might think I am batty, but at least she knows I am thinking about her!

My husband, Larry, will be 68 on July 8.

I will be 57 on July 11.

My son, Michael, will be 23 on July 12.

With all these birthdays packed together, Larry and I gave up cake on our birthdays long ago. With the kids away at college this year, I might surprise him with a big sugar bomb, which is kind of how I think of cake :)

July 16th will be my first ann with Stage iv dx.... and 10 years since I was dx with DCIS (of which I was cured with double masc) Ironic, yes it is...

July 2 was a special anniversary for me - married 31 years - the age we were when we got married. I have now officially been married longer than not. For some reason that's been an important milestone for me for some years. How lucky that I could be here to celebrate.
It was a very good day indeed!

My birthday is July 28th I'll be 58. I think I will get my ruby bracelet fixed that my mother gave me as a gift to myself.
