Just gotta say...my CAT scan came back today and I am a smiling woman...God has been very good to me. The scan showed that the chest tumors (which were the worst I had) are...as the radiologist says...resolved. We didn't check the neck ones but will do another 2 months of chemo and then do a PET of the neck ones and the chest. In the meantime - I wanted to share that ...there is hope for us stage 4s. There are responses to treatment! Of course the Dr was quick to say...it is not all gone, and not all scans will be this good, but for now....this feels very very good. Back off Cancer monster! Thanks God!

Woo hoo!! I am so excited to hear your news! I just got the results of my brain MRI today and it is clear and my lungs are stable so I am celebrating along with you! What meds are you taking to get such fantastic results? lisa

let me start with...double yeah for you...
I take Xeloda bi-weekly, Taxol weekly 3 on 1 off and Herceptin... weekly How about you?

Resolved and stable...who knew such simple words could carry such a HUGE impact? Congrats to both!!!! We NEED to keep hearing the good news and reminding each other that it is possible...every day an alligator wrestler wins one of the nasty matches with that smelly sucker. And some days, one of our team members even gets NED in ring with 'em!

Thanks for a day brightener~

I have goosebumps girls. This is great news. Keep it coming!

Great news!

God is excellent!

That is true - goodnatured...

Great news-I am happy for you. It is so good to hear this kind of news from one of us.

I am new to the site, but I love that we all can share in the good news and hope for one gives us all hope. Personally, for me it was a good timing because I have just had a change in my treatment when a PET scan showed a spot on my right scapula that was not on a prior scan. I was a bit shaken at learning there was a new spot, so it was good to be reminded that there are reasons for hope. I am very happy for your good news. lauriem!

Congratulations, all of you with good news!! I am awaiting the results of CT scans of chest, abdomen, and pelvic. Bone scan from last week showed some new progression, but Doc wants to continue same tx unless something shows up on CT.

God Bless You,
Karyn

Laurie and Lisa, Congrats to you and can I change my name!!!! I am happy for your good news. Every bit of good news is to be celebrated, that's for sure! I know that God loves us all and He does want the best for all of us! I had wonderful news this afternoon, a friend from over 30 years ago and her husband who is a pastor, came to visit and I feel very blessed too. Even though there is no treatment for me right now, I'm happy just "being." God in His wisdom is taking care of every thing in His way and I do believe He knows best for all of us. Celebrate! Celebrate! Giving thanks for your great news!

Love, Hazelmarie
