3 month check-up

0 Recommendations

Well my bride and i head back to the Mayo in Phoenix for a 3 month check-up with the radiologist, hematologist, and surgeon. It has been 2 years since diagnosis, 21 months since surgery, and 18 months since chemo and radiation for stage IV tongue cancer.
For the most part I feel pretty good. The only real problem I have is not being able to shake the afternoon fatigue. After lunch I am shot. My weight is stable and my blood work has been nominal.
I could blame the fatigue on age. I am 62. But I felt that I had more energy after radiation and chemo than I have now! Has anyone out there experienced this fatigue?
