hi every one,
it has been discovered that have periventricular beats or contractions.the docs say i have nothing to worry about,but i am concerned.does any one out their know about this?if so please fill me in as i realy am worried.lots of hugs and smiles to you all. :) :) :)

Hi Greensmile, I had the same thing happen to me back in Jan. 08 and so I went to a Cardiologist to have it checked out and they found nothing until they made me wear a holster heart monitor and found PVC heartbeats during my normal day. They put me on metoprolo (beta blocker 25mg) to help stop them and it has. The only side effect I see is I can’t get my heart rate any higher than 130 when exercising when I could get as high as 160. I don’t believe this is caused by ALS/MND.
