i know,i haven't updated in ages(naughty me)things are generally as usual although getting weaker and weaker but my smile's getting brighter and brighter :)
we have so much to be thankful for.as rabbi akiva said"look at the full half of the glass"meaning,look on the bright side and count your blessings.i know that each day something may be lost,but their is also something gained.this may be spiritual,deeper insight,
increased mutual love,and understanding,improved priorities,and increasing joy for the simple things;
the loveliness of a fresh flower,twinkling stars in the velvet night sky,radiant sunrises,sweet song of birds in the morning,a granchilds smile and laughter of glee,
and the list goes on and on.:)let us all keep the faith,never ever give up hope,and keep those smiles shining. :) :) :) ..............yes,life is good

Greensmile....I wanted to let you know that even though we've never met, I think of you often and your little :)'s when trying to get through a tough day. I so wish that my husband could've gotten some joy in the days that he had left. All he focused on was the ALS, and perhaps I would do the same if I were in his shoes, but I felt he was missing out on the little (hmmm....maybe they were huge joys, the stars in a night's sky, spring flowers blooming, and the wild rabbit munching at the clover in our yard) joys that are free for the taking. When I look up at the stars tonight I will think of you and say a prayer for all of those with ALS. Marge
