June 13th, 2007. Echockotee Scout Camp. I attended a presentation organized by BSA North Florida Council.
Representatives from Saint Vincent Hospital donated two AEDs to be located at Echockotee and Shands Scout camps.
They showed a video about the importance of AEDs, I told my SCA story and how an AED was used to shock me five times, and a representative from Medtronic explained how to use the new AEDs. The audience were young and adult staff being trained for the Aquatics Summer Camp at Echockotee.
