my mother was diagn. in 06 with stage 4 primary peritoneal cancer (a sister cancer to ovarian cancer) that is not contained. she had surg. 2 rounds of chemo currently started 3rd round, now bowel obstruction in small intestines. they have tried decompression and no response to moving. now they want to do surg. any thoughts on what to expect from surg. or what happens now? Just scared for my mom.

I'm sorry your mom's going through such a rough time. I know it's scary, cancer itself is scary. It sounds as if they have no choice but to do more surgery but I'm not a doctor so can't really give any options. I will keep you all in my prayers and bless you.
