How did your follow-up exam go?

It went very well , my heart has recovered to 95%, which is amazing i,m to stay on medication untill december then , we,ll see i guess , i,m a very lucky man , to have lived through a sca, all the time before , a walking time bomb , who knows these things, how are you , doing ,, me

You're a miracle! Are you going to get an ICD? My cardiologist tells me I'm doing great, no damage to my heart from my SCA and my heart was in good condition before the event. He pinpointed the cause of my V-fib when he tested my heart while implanting the ICD. He is a former electrical engineer and now an electrophysiologist! Isn't that crazy! I just need to trust him because all of the published information on SCAs state our most critical time is the 1st 6 months, and after that there is always that chance of a another one. It sort of makes me cringe in anticipation. I asked my husband, "Don't you think you'd be freaked out if you had a 50/50 chance of being struck by lightening today?" Under those circumstances, aren't we all going to always be a little bit crazy? You'll have to get a tattoo of the KISS song, "Shock me, make me feel better," on your chest!!!!
