All you do is select the friend, select send a message. Type you email address that way. Or you can also in the settings, have your email address available for friends only. Hope this helps. Have a very happy & healthy new year.......S

If the person hasn't been added as a friend yet--I think you need to add them. At least that is what I have done when I wanted to speak to someone privately. When you request that they become your friend, you can add a message. And you get a new friend!
