THANK GOD ITS FINE!
okay its just a pap, but for someone who's had their fair share of cervical cancer and complications from it, i'm so happy. i called 2 days ago and they never got back so i called today and said i'd wait on the phone til someone would give me my results.
for some reason they thought they were looking for the results of a PET SCAN, not PAP TEST. probably my fault since i've been slightly plagued with chemo brain. so they sadly called desparately asking where i had my pet scan. told them PAP not PET and we all had a laugh and i came out clean. i'm happy tonight.

hooray for normal pap test results!!! i'm very happy for you, ariel. do something special to celebrate!!! :)

thanks flowershoplady!
isn't it funny, and a wee bit sad, that what the rest of the world takes for granite, normal pap's, we here, find cause for celebration. but then that makes for more things to celebrate the the rest! your right i should do something special........................ maybe go to bed ridiculously early.........oh its 9:30 already.... okay maybe go to bed rediculously late! thanks for caring about something most take as mundane : }

Congrats Ariel1! That is great news!

Ariel -- wonderful news! May all your paps come back NORMAL!

AWWWW i am so happy for you my dear ariel.

Yippie yeah for the good news. It IS cause to celebrate! I was chuckling with a fellow teacher at our school's new found love of celebrating EVERYTHING with a party / shower. The secretary is becoming a grandmother and they threw a party for her, another teacher got engaged, one married, and more parties. I said that we should ask them if they'll celebrate our clear paps and mammies. Probably not. But in any case, I'm very happy for you. And you're from little Rhodie, I lived on Block Island for a time. I heart RI!

Dear Ariel 1, That is great news! That is what each and everyone of us want to hear.
Maybe you should celebrate with an alka-seltzer tonic on ice.
I know how hard it is to find humor in all of this, but if it wasn't for some humor and fun, I think we'd all be in the Looney Bin Coalition!
Wishing you continued good news on all of your tests!
Amy

Ariel - very happy for you. Since I have had more or less the same experience you did, I just hope I do as well down the line when my chemo is finished. Have a wonderful summer - it will be with this good news!
