WAITING STILL!!!!!

0 Recommendations

I am so tired of waiting for lab results, I had my hystrectomy almost 3 weeks ago and still no results.
I called the Dr. on Friday and she said that they had not came back. How long should it take? The waiting is worse than the surgery. I just needed to vent thanks for letting me do so.

hi, ansay. how frustrating that you're still waiting for pathology results from your surgery! i think the christmas and new year's holidays can really slow down all sorts of things. i got my pathology results from my hysterectomy when i was still in the hospital post surgery! go ahead and vent....waiting is awful! hopefully on monday, you'll be able to get some results as everything in offices goes back to normal schedules. hang in there. and meanwhile, take good care of yourself. i hope your recovery is going smoothly.

I am so sorry ansay. I had my 3 month appointment on the 20th of December. I jokingly asked the doctor would I have to wait until next year for the results. She said let us hope not. The day after Christmas my results were in. Your result should not take this long. Three weeks is a very long time. I did not have a hysterectomy but I know that other women knew right when they woke up from surgery. At the very least did you find out if there was node involvement? For know I am very sorry and feel free to keep venting but also find time to relax.

hi ansay, so sorry to hear that you are having to wait so long for your path. results. I knew mine while i was still in the hospital. Hopefully you will hear something today. Hope everything you hear is good. Will be thinking of you.

Today is Monday hopefully today is the day you get the news. Hope that its good news.

Just called my Dr. and they are going to call on them today. So HOPEFULLY I will know something son.
I will let everyone know as soon as I do.

Still no answers!!! No call back yet, still waiting.

Hi ansay, I got my results 5 days after surgery. They told me it would take a week to 10 days, but it was a little sooner. I can understand how stressed you feel waiting for the results. Hopefully you will hear good news soon.

Still no news!!! Still waiting.

Dear Ansay, That is a crazy amount of time to wait. Did they actually diagnose you with cervical cancer, is that why you had your hysterectomy? Anyways, I would call the doctor today, ask them what lab does the pathology report and call them. You should have had your results from your surgery back way before this. Have you had your staples removed yet? They should be able to tell you something at the oncons office by now, especially if you have been back in for an office visit.

I agree with hopeandprayers. This is ridiculous. You have been patient enough. Really hoping today is the day. Hang in there

FINALLY THE RESULTS ARE IN, EVERYTHING CAME BACK PERFECT. THANK GOD!!!

I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE FOR THERE SUPPORT.

always good to hear good news! does perfect results mean that there was no dysplasia found, and all was normal? you may want to have another hpv test done with your next couple of follow up paps to feel even more at ease. best wishes for a quick and smooth recovery from your surgery.

FANTASTIC!!!! I was about to log off then I thought about you and was curious to find out if you got your results. I am so very happy for you. Congrats!!!!

When I go back to the Dr. on the 27th she is going to do a pap and lab work. No dysplacia all clear margins.

Thanks to everyone who was waiting with me.

hello ansay reading your post was very inspirational and congratulations on your 60lbs weightloss. Do you mind if I ask you about your labs. Were you actually diagnosed with the diabetes or just borderline. I would appreciated this help, it s just gives inspiration that with some work and determination I may be able to put the diabetes in remission. Can you also give us and idea what a sample day of eating may be for you. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to hearing from you
