Jeff is doing well. He just started being able to roll over on his own from his back to his belly. We don't have any problems from his belly to his back. Just the other way around.

He recently turned one and his new favorite thing is cake. We are working with him on more solid foods such as chicken, sweet potatoes, graham crackers and carrots. He won't eat any Stage 3 foods because of the chunky and squishy thing going on there.

In therapy, we are working on crawling and scooting. Sometimes he does just fine scooting but other times he wants nothing to do with it.

My once 3 pound 4 ounce 14 3/4 incher is now 23 pounds and 31 inches long. Who would have thought!

On the 25th of this month is his other "birthday". One year ago on that date he came home.

Hi! I am so excited for you my former 26 weeker now 11 mos. (8 adj) It was hard for her too in June she was rolling from back to tummy and then when it was time to go the other way she would get so mad she couldn't do it then 1 month later July 3 she did it now she's back & forth, back & forth and just recently on the 12th of this month she sat up on her own I'm hoping by 9-18 her first b-day she'll be crawling.
So don't worry he'll be turning in no time. When he does you be sure to let me know I would love to know how he's doing he is a wonderful blessing

Take care,

Shalaya & Jenay

We just celebrated our son's 1 year homecoming on the 16th. It feels like the time has gone quickly at one level, but yet so much has happened too.

Are you planning a big celebration?

We kept ours low key...just Henry, his dad (also named Jeff), and me.

Hope you have a fabulous weekend.

No! no big celebration who would I really be celebrating for? the other kids i think not maybe next year when she's running around and able to enjoy herself.

You have a good weekend also

That is wonderful news!!! Jacob can roll both ways (it isn't very "pretty" though) and like Jeff, he doesn't always want to do it. That can be very frustrating...like the time we went to the developmental pediatrician...he would do it for them and when they are testing them they have to see him do it or it doesn't count. Jacob's first birthday is tomorrow and I am hoping I hold up okay (it is also his twin brother Samuel's birthday - he lived for only two days)! Wish me luck!!!
