But when ever i get i home i all ways end of falling asleep and in my spare time all i do is sleep. It like i can't every stay up and i really don't know why. So if you have any ideals why that may be can you please let me know since I'm in the dark here.

I had the same experience -- but wasn't as good as you about exercise--keep that up, it helps!

For me, Iron injections seemed to help alot. So check if you are anemic. Also, for me interrupted sleep was a problem and amilioride helps me make it through the night better (less trips to the potty).

Give yourself every break: no alcohol of course; healthy veggie/fruits food; I think no caffeine/coffee helps.

And sleep too much if your body needs you to. I think hot baths help as well.

Sometimes it comes in waves of muscle aches and I whimper with fatigue. That happens much less often now.

Expect to improve but take care of yourself while you are down. Are you on mega-Vitamin D yet? You should probably be.

Good luck and keep writing, Grace

the only thing i can think of is maybe get your sugar levels checked, if they are out of wack, that might affect your energy levels, or maybe get your thyroid checked. i am still tired all the time and these are some of the tests the doctors have done to try and find a reason.good luck!

What type of diet are you on, sometimes the food restrictions can be the cause. Since many kidney patients are told to restrict protein we can become anemic but do NOT NOT NOT take Iron unless your nephro says it is OK. I may be doing more harm then good,

get a CBC blood test and verify the following. Hemoglobin, RBC, Iron and Hemomatocrit. If these levels are low could be a big reason why your so tired. The treatment would be Epo and IV Iron Suppliment, which can be injected during treatment time.
also---the third reply i've noticed (2plus1not3) writes "Since many kidney patients are told to restrict protein we can become anemic but do NOT NOT NOT take Iron unless your nephro says it is OK." Are you in renal failure and or on dialysis? having a low 'protein' diet is best if your kidneys are beginning to fail but a high 'protein' diet is crucial if in kidney failure. Most of the time renal failure patients are anemic due to the kidneys unable to produce RBC.
ps---one thing i do worry about is your parents you claim won't let you know what's going on (which is what you posted in your profile)
if any further questions you always have all of us!!!

Could it be tonsillitis? if you really have enlarged tonsils, it will block your airway during your sleep that will cause you to be tired and lerthagic the following day. My daughter had the similar problem and we are considering it to be removed. You might want to consider visiting ENT.

There are a couple of reasons other then the ones that were mentioned.
One: I suggest you have your thyroid checked.
Two: Do you snore when you sleep? Could it be possible that you have Sleep Apenia?

Good luck to you .
Dee

i recall feeling very tired during the day - especially when I was in HS and in college. I didn't think anything of it at the time. When i turned 30 I discovered that there were tumors growing on my neck and lower brain stem. I don't know if they were related. I would also get these strange cramps in my neck - and in other areas.

I've read some other posts from people who talk about experiencing extreme fatigue or insomnia. I didn't know if it could be related to NF or not because I had nothing else to base it on other than my own experiences.

I would say just try to eat healthy, keep a good attitude, exercise and stay away from the negative things out there. Push your doctors if you need to...if you have to, ask for an MRI.

Hi, like the other posters I would get a blood test, go see your doctor and tell them what is going on. Blood tests can tell alot about all parts of a person's overall health. Maybe you are just a little anemic, maybe you need some vitamins. Please go to a doctor and update us when you get results, all my best to you, feel better, Karen

by going to the doctor i would have to tell my parents and i can't do that

Honey I wish that I could talk to your parents!! This is horrible that you cannot talk to them, maybe you need to tell your school counsler, or if they have a nurse, someone!! You need to be checked out, just a doctor visit. Do you have any Aunts or Uncles, grandparents to talk to, older siblings, someone!!
What type of cancer did you have? Did they ever really tell you? I wish I could scoop you up and take you to a doctor, this is YOUR life we are talking about here. Can you have someone drive you to the doctor or ER, take yourself if you have to. Please get someone to help you ease your mind, I pray that it is nothing serious, but what if it is? You just do not know unless you have some simple tests, Please get some help, tell someone, keep us updated, we CARE about you, HUGGS, Karen

Lately i have been sleeping more than i do

i think that my dad is thinking that there is some thing up with me sleeping so much and he has been showing a interested in my sleeping habits by asking questions and seeing if there is any thing wrong with that

and my mom on the other hand thinks it is due to the med that the doctor has me on but i look it up and it says nothing about making you sleepy or any thing that would due with my sleeping habits
