New feature - additional reply notifications

Hello everyone. We just added a new feature to help you follow the conversations that you are participating in. You will now get a notification whenever someone replies directly to one of your replies. Previously only the original poster of a discussion or journal entry was notified of new replies.

As you're reading discussions and journal entries, you'll notice that the original post and all of the replies have reply links under them. Just click the reply link under the item that you want to reply to, and we'll let the original poster and the person you're replying to know that you have replied.

We'll send these notifications to you by e-mail by default, but you can opt to receive them here on the site instead. Just visit your message settings page and adjust the setting for "New replies" to change how your notifications are delivered.

We hope this helps you keep in touch with your friends and find the information and support you need. We'll have more features for you very soon!

Hi Walter,
For some reason now I'm not getting the daily update email, or anything else! I checked my settings and they seem fine. Probably just me, technology and I are not always friends!

We're looking into the problem with your activity summary messages. It looks like we may have a problem with certain e-mail systems rejecting our mail, which happens from time to time. We'll keep you posted.

I have not received my daily automatic email updates for about 4 days. I didn't change my settings, so not sure what the problem is - can you help?

I'm still not getting any daily email newsletters or anything else, either. The last one I got was on Sunday, May 4th.

I stopped getting daily e-mail newsletters on Sunday, too. What has happened? I miss them.

Sorry to everyone who hasn't been receiving their daily activity summary messages. I think we're close to getting the problem fixed. There was a fluke mishap with some of the networking that connects our systems to the rest of the world, and it has resulted in a lot of our mail being temporarily rejected by ISPs. The problem was a subtle one, and it's taken our network provider a few days to track it down. I understand they're very close to fixing it, though.
