Sometimes the most powerful message each of us can share is our personal story -- our own experience. With upcoming healthcare legislation pending, one way we can be advocates is to share these stories. We want to hear from you. Post a journal entry with a video about yourself: your triumphs, your struggles, your healthcare, your story.

Video is powerful because it puts a face to your words. Photos and videos, connected with the words in Inspire can create a powerful message for others. Healthcare is personal, no matter your politics. This is about you and your life.

Please post your message in June so we can show the world that our Inspire family has some very powerful things to say and share. Thank you.

Some guidelines for your videos:

Life after Parkinson's. An impromptu jam with Tony Bennett's band at the Bal du Printemps at The Pierre Hotel in New York. That's me with my late father's tails (he had PD too) and my harmonica singin' the blues.

How do we post a video?

Sheila

Hi Sheila,

To post a video, you must first upload it to another site to be hosted (like YouTube). You can then cut and paste the "embed" code they provide into a journal entry.

Hope this helps!

can i post the video of my daughter having a seizure?

Well I don't still know what my problem is and why my mood swings daily between ups & downs. Doctors sometimes say it is bipolar, Whereas another doctor says it is personal anxiety disorder. What & where to find the cause of the mood change problem? Any suggestions please?

Russel,

I don't know that you would want to post a video of your child in that situation, maybe post a video about how her seizures have affected everyone in your family's lives.

Beth, TeamInspire

Ma'am Beth,

Russel

Hi Valarie,
I just saw your video. Your kids are beautiful! Thanks for sharing the pics, their smiles are so refreshing. You must be an amazing woman.

About 60% of people with NF have problems with depression and mood disorders. Ask your doctor to read up on nf as most doctors don't know anything about it. Good luck.

Thanks so much, I'm glad that they gave you that effect. There smiles always help with the difficult parts. It makes everything worth it.

TaevansNana, that is probably one of the prettiest babies I have ever seen!
