We're writing to let you know about a great new feature we'll be adding to Inspire in the very near future: guestbooks. This is a feature that many of you have requested, and we're very excited to add it. You may already be familiar with the idea of a guestbook. Very simply, your guestbook is a section of your profile where friends and family can leave you messages of support, encouragement and inspiration. We know how much the support you receive from Inspire means to you, and guestbooks will make it easy for your friends and family -- even if they're not members of Inspire -- to say they are there for you too.
Some additional information about guestbooks:
- We'll provide you with tools that make it easy to invite your friends and family to sign your guestbook
- As always, you'll have privacy settings that enable you to control who can see your guestbook
- Anyone who signs your guestbook will have the option of giving you (free) virtual gifts!
We're very excited to provide you with another way to receive the support that we know is so important to you. If you have any questions about guestbooks or any Inspire features, please let us know. You can reply here, or write us at team@inspire.com.

Thank you team inspire. This is the best sight I have found to get good feed back and positive support from. Even my doctor said this was a good sight. I gave the address to another doctor who had a sarcoid paitent. God Bless

Thanks You so Much. It is great to know that the requests were taken to heart and now it will be a wonderful addition to Inspire. I think relatives and friends will really add to the wonderful support we already get from everyone involved in Ovarian Cancer Support right here and right now. I am so honored to be a part of this support system....without it , it wouldn't be the same. Your all great......!

Will those guests have member privileges on the communities?
Is it just an extension of the friends side of each community. How will that work exactly?

Karego -- No special privileges come with signing a guestbook, though we hope lots of friends and family members will join Inspire after signing one. The guestbook is just a section of the member profile. Hope that helps.

I would love to be able to "push out" journal entries to guests (like a Caring Bridge type system). I have close family and friends who want updates of my child's health condition, but don't really want to be part of an online support group. I guess they could always join and not post their own entries, but it would be a nice enhancement. Thanks!
