Alternative treatments & exercises to strengthen bones!

0 Recommendations

Because I have just about decided it's too risky for me to take the zolendronic acid (dental issues ongoing!) I need to find alternatives. I do exercise a lot but want more examples of what is weight bearing exercise. Power Plate is forbidden to me (total knee replacement in 2007!).
I don't think I take enough calcium - have digestive issues (colitis brought on by originally taking Fosamax!)

so I also welcome nutritional suggestions.

Exercise Physical therapy Fosamax

Check into the JUVENT machine (a very gentle vibration platform - I see knee and hip replacement patients use it everyday at physical therapy - this machine is not 'violent'' shaking like the power plate - look up CLINTON RUBIN (he developed this) and he says the gentle 'buzz' is safe... do your own research, but I think I'm going to order one for my home - his research shows bone density improvement with the Juvent - and no damage.
