I get notifications from Amazon for books under different subjects. Because I've ordered some regarding brain injuries and/or encephalitis, I was notified of the publication of this book:
"Brain Injury Survivor's Guide: Welcome to Our World" by Larry and Beth Jameson, Outskirtspress.com for $19.95, -- www.braininjuryguide.org.I haven't really started reading it but I think it look great. Lots of suggestions on how to deal with things.
The first page starts with: Welcome to Our World. "Looking Good and Feeling Strannge" describes most brain injury victims because the large majority of brain injuries have no outward p;hysical signs."
Then it goes on:
Dedication:
"To the more than one million people who suffer life-changing brain injuries each yar in the U.S. and to the very growing number throughout the world who find themselves waking up in a new world -- our world. We further dedicate our writing to the millions of family members who become support personnel for brain injured patients."
Thought you might all be interested.
