Worst storm I've been in with thunder and lightening. Pea size hail, really cold.
Calico and I watched the storm through our courtyard glassed doors. Even behind 2-1/2 foot adobe walls, I could feel the immense charge of electricity bouncing around.
I could feel the charge all through me, and expected the cat's fur to stand on end! I wasn't struck by lightening, the electric current was just that much.
Go out to measure it, I don't think so!!!
