Well the year is soon to come to the end, and new year will bring us hope joy, and laughter.

We have a lot of things to due before June 2009, that's when Provincial Summer Games are being held in St. Albert Alberta. Why we are so excited about it is, because this will be the first time ever that the whole family will experience the summer games with special Olympics as a athlete(Ashley) and Coaches myself and my husband.

All honestly I feel myself and my husband are more excited then our daughter Ashley, But hey we aren't the one's who have to perform in front of ton's of people.LOL

Since enrolling Ashley in to rhythmic gymnastics , Ashley has blossom into wonderful athlete, and myself along with my husband has become better persons over all.

Spending TWO HRS per week coaching rhythmic gymnastics and seeing those eye's light up with joy once they master a skill or routine it just brings joy to my heart and melts down.

Good luck Ashley!!!

Happy Holidays to you, Ashley, hubby and family!

Wishing you a wonderful new year too!!!

Hi there,
Would you be able to give me some info about the provincial summer games. I haven't heard about this b4 but I'm guessing it has to do w/ ppl w/ special needs? My son has CP and although he can get around and do most things,he's still in a wheelchair and has some brain damage. This sounds like somethig he/we could do.
How old is your daughter? Does she have CP?
Thank you for ur time,
Sincerely,
Donna
