Last week, I took a long walk with my favorite patient empowerment advocate, Dr. Ted Eytan (www.tedeytan.com). We talked about a wide range of topics, many of which are directly related to the work we do here at Inspire. Ted wrote about our conversation here: http://www.tedeytan.com/2008/10/14/1974
Ted is exactly the kind of person you'd want to be your own doctor: he's empathetic, intelligent, an attentive listener, and he thinks hard about the things around us that affect how healthy we are. Ted has a lot to say about doctors, hospitals and health insurance, as well as individual patients and caregivers. I highly recommend reading his blog regularly if you want to follow the thoughts of one of the most progressive thinkers in healthcare today.
