Update:Thank you for the paryers...Fluid from lung was not cancerous!

0 Recommendations

Thank you all for your prayers....It worked. I just got my results from my test that I had done when they removed the fluid. The fluid in the lung was not cancerous!! I can relax a little now. (By the way, you guys were right, the test didn't hurt at all when they removed the fluid).
The second part of this test was what I thought the Dr said was an ultrasound on a tumor. Well I was so wrong. It's funny how you hear things so differently when your scared. I got a echo to see how much fluid I had around my heart that showed up on the ct scan.
My chemo that was scheduled for Friday is again canceled due to the doctor wanted me to see a cardiologist on Friday. I may have to get surgery to have the fluid removed.
Please keep praying for me that this fluid is not harmful and can quickly get back to my chemo.
I will update when I find out on Friday.
I hope that everyone is having a great night.
Thank you all and God Bless,
Barb

Update: Just came back from my cardiologist. I need to have the fluid removed around my heart ASAP. I will need to be in the hospital for a couple days until all the fluid is drained. I have an appointment with the surgeon on Tuesday. He also mention that my heart is pumping a little slower which they think is due to the chemo. I will need to be on medication for that.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers!
Barb

So glad to hear this! Hope you can have a wonderful weekend and get a chance to relax a bit.

Fantastic news! You are in my thoughts. Hope the fluid is just a little bump in the road and you can get back to chemo in no time.

Keep your head up. :) One day at a time!

Carey

Great news Barb! The chemo might help the fluid go down so I hope you can get back to it as quickly as possible.

Best wishes,
Sheila
